He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hughes Welch and Donna Mae VanKirk. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Welch (Jeannette), Jacob Welch (Kenyah), Jonathan Welch and Jesse Welch; his grandchildren, Katelyn Welch and Jaxon Welch; and his siblings, Robert Welch, Ronald Welch (Joy), David "Joe" Welch and Laura Warstler (Shawn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2720 Broughton St, Orangeburg, SC 29115).
