He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Murden, Sr. and Sue Garrick Murden; and his siblings, Rivers Murden, William T. "Dubby" Murden Jr. and Emily Cheryl Murden.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sanders Murden; his grandchildren, Kyle T. Delaney (Treleigh), Caleb L. Bass (Jeannette), Dunleigh Delaney and Khanyezi Bass; and his sister Josie M. Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley Grove United Methodist Church (515 State Rd S-38-75, Cordova, SC 29039). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Because of Tom's dedicated service to his country the family requests that floral donations be red, white and blue or in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wesley Grove United Methodist Church at PO Box 175 Cordova, S.C. 29039 or to the Gideons International at 9475 Char Augusta Road Bamberg, S.C. 29003.
