He was predeceased by: his parent Dean Kenneth Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Spurr Nelson of Cottageville; his wife Erin McGlynn Nelson of Cottageville; his sons, Joshua Nelson (Taylor Crosby) of Cottageville, Matthew Nelson of Cottageville and Jackson Nelson of Cottageville; his grandchildren, Luna Nelson, Dean Nelson and Hazel Nelson; his sisters, Kristie Barton (James) of Summerville, Kimberlie Hutson of Cottageville, Sarah Nelson-Poirier (Derrick) of Walterboro and Boston; and his pets, Trixie, Dottie, Ziggy and Zoey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as his CB family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cottageville Community Methodist Church (44 Peirce Rd, Cottageville, SC 29435).
