He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arnold Finlay and Ruth Spencer Finlay; and his brothers, Bob J. Finlay, Herbert Harry Finlay, Ron Frank Finlay and Donald Edward Finlay.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Finlay Palmer; and his brother James A. Finlay. He is also survived by two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at 2811 State Rd S-15-233, Walterboro, SC 29488.
