Martin and Gaynel Muckelvany Martin; her sons, Timothy Muckenfuss and Oscar Muckenfuss of Cottageville; her grandchildren, Timothy Martice Muckenfuss, Elijah Muckenfuss and Haley Muckenfuss; and her siblings, Marti Edwards, Barbara Davidson (Ashley) of Ridgeville, Arlene Martin of Cottageville, Linda Martin of Ridgeville, Brenda Martin (Tony) of Ridgeville and Dean Martin (Tina). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Kathleen Crothers Chavis wrote a sympathy message

“Chief Louie and Kathleen Chavis of the Beaver Creek Indian Tribe would like to express our sincere thoughts and prayers to the family of Shirlean Martin. We sat with her on the SC Indian Development Board in Columbia, SC. She was a wonderful, cheerful person whenever we got to see her. She was a delight to be around. We will miss her dearly on the SCIDIC Board for she was so dedicated to the job. May she rest in peace.”
