He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Caraway and Clara Bell Locklair Caraway; his wives, Annie Dell Spring Carraway and Mary Vonne Gaskins Carraway; his brothers, Carl R. Carraway, Sr. and James W. Carraway; and his brother-in-law Jesse L. Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Carraway (Elza) of Travelers Rest, Sheila Lynch (Ricky) of Effingham and Crystal Carraway of Coward; his grandchildren, Francesca Katarina Carraway (Michael) of Easley and Jamison Lynch (Maddie) of Effingham; his siblings, Gladys Allen of Coward and Steve Carraway of Florence; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Carraway of Coward and Shirley Carraway of Lake City. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
