He was predeceased by: his parents, Tillman Miles and Mae Bell Welch Miles; his grandson Chad Touchberry; and his siblings, Marion, Dot Gaskins, Thelma Floyd, Elsie Lyman, Alex Miles, Nancy Lee and Roger Miles.
He is survived by: his wife Lou Taylor Miles; his grandchildren, Victoria Bundy of Sumter, Johnathan Baxley (Madison) of Sumter, Dustin Bunte of Texas, Derek Cornett of Sumter, Christopher Caples of Sumter, Crystal Caples of Sumter and Jennifer Prince (Shane) of Lake City; his brother Legran Miles (Rosemary) of Florence; and his nieces, Melinda Wilson of Myrtle Beach and Johnlyn Nettles (Mikie) of Lake City. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Family Worship Assembly Highway (4311 US-52, Coward, SC 29530). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
