She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Matthews and Nora Lee Matthews; her husband Charlie "Buddy" Wilkes; and her sons, Charles Timothy Wilkes and James Randy Wilkes.
She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Wilkes of Coward, Kevin Wilkes (Jessie) of Coward and Jason Wilkes (April) of Coward; her grandchildren, Chelsey, Jayden, Michael, Robert, Josh and Nora Grace; and her cousin Deloris "Tooney" Miles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591).
