She is survived by : her children, Debbie Coward and Dale Coward (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Chris Coward (Kayla) and Ashley Fryar (Tripp); her great grandchildren, Easton Coward, Olivia Fryar (Jacob) and Reagen Fryar (Matthew); her great great grandchild Ethan Fryar; her brother William "Tee" Smith; and her cousin Barbara J. McAllister. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church (219 E Friendfield Rd, Coward, SC 29530). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at the Mossy Grove Cemetery.
