It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Mims of Cowpens, South Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Scruggs Mims; his parents, Lloyd Kenneth Mims and Martha Sue Crowe Mims; and his siblings, Susie Foster and Julius Mims.
He is survived by: his brothers, Roger Mims (Debbie) of Spartanburg, Dickie Seay (Shelia) of Wellford and Keith Seay (Stephanie) of Spartanburg; his nieces, Mikayla McKain and Mikenzie Ledesma; his sisters-in-law, Martha Frashier (Aaron) of Cowpens, Gayle Lindsey (Richard) of Cowpens and Sharon Varner (Terry) of Cowpens; and his goddaughter Miranda Ledesma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
