With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Calvert Threadgill (Cowpens, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. M. Threadgill and Alba Whitt Threadgill; and his brother Leslie Threadgill. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Dunagin (Jamie) and Grey Threadgill (Kelly); his stepchildren, Deidra Foster (Jason) and Caleb O'Shields (Hollie); and his sisters, Marian Hampton (Jim), Nancy Davis (Lynn) and Jill Thrift (Tony). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 108 W Church St, Cowpens, SC 29330.
