She was predeceased by : her husband Jack K. Spencer; her parents, Luther Clary and Polly Whelchel Clary; and her grandsons, Dustin Adams and Clay Spencer.

She is survived by : her children, Lynn Spencer (Tracy) of Spartanburg, Timmy Spencer (Donna) of Cowpens, Chris Spencer (Nancy) of Austin, TX and Gail Adams of Boiling Springs, SC; her sisters, Eula Baumert of Florida and Anthulas "Pete" Bulman (Tommy) of Roebuck; and her grandchildren, Jessica Gilbert (David), Daniel Spencer (Anna), Cole Spencer, Jade Spencer, Charlie Spencer and Ryann Spencer. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
