He is survived by: his wife Faye Ruppe Kimsey; his children, Michael Kimsey of Cowpens, Joey Walker of Spartanburg, Hilda Cobb of Cowpens and Teresa Dotson (Ernest) of Cowpens; and his grandchildren, Harlie Walker, Paige Bowen, Mandi Walker, Holly Leaphart, Allen Kimsey, April Cobb, Kimberly Cantrell, Sage Kimsey and Elliott Kimsey. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
