He was predeceased by : his parents, James Luther Threatt, Jr. and Stella Marie Simms Threatt; and his sisters, Barbara Easler and Joan Sherman. He is survived by : his wife Janice Bridges Threatt; his children, Kim Ridings (David) of Cowpens, Jeff Threatt (Tammy) of Cowpens and Josh Threatt (Love) of Boiling Springs, SC; and his sisters, Carolyn Gosnell of Spartanburg and Judy Holifield of Wellford. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: 4 great-grandchildren.
