He was predeceased by : his parents, Buford B. Lemmons, Sr. and Bernice Reynolds Lemmons; and his siblings, Frank Lemmons, Jack Lemmons, Walter Lemmons, Frances Frady, Betty Crawford, Edna Fowler and Belva Lemmons.

He is survived by : his siblings, Buford B. Lemmons, Jr. of Spartanburg, Bessie Ree Lavender (Ernest) of Gaffney and Mary Crawford of Gaffney.
