She was predeceased by: her significant other Joe Dean Hughes; and her father James. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tina and Jason Martin; her great grandchildren, Kathleen, Daniel, Matthew and Rebekah; her grandchildren, Kim and Larry Meltzer; her great grandchild Isabella; and her sister Betty Dalton. She is also survived by her daughters, sons-in-law.
For those who desire to make a memorial donation, the family has chosen to donate to the Women's Missionary Union (WMU) at Mt. Olive Baptist Church for their Operation Christmas Child ministry.
