We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2024, at the age of 70, David R. Scott Jr. of Cross, South Carolina, born in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doug Atkins and Emma Jeanette White Scott; his stepfather David R. Scott, Sr.; his son Aaron Scott; his granddaughter Amber Tipton; his brother Randy Scott; his wife Debra Lynn Tipton Scott; his children, Misty Tipton-Owens of Bonneau and D. Jason Scott of Summerville; and his siblings, Niki Porter of Satellite Beach, FL and Allan Scott of Wewoka, OK. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 West Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (843-761-8027), to assist with his funeral expenses.
