Michael G. Maggard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2024, at the age of 75, Michael G. Maggard of Cross, South Carolina, born in Hazard, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Maggard; his grandparents, Harlan "Brown" and Thelma Gross; and his daughter Michelle Candy. He is survived by: his wife Carleen Mitchell Maggard; his mother Kathleen Gross Maggard Rice; his son Michael Brandy Maggard (Ann); his grandsons, Joshua Cody King, Mitchell Colt King (Haley), Michael Christopher Maggard (Tristen) and Ernest Hunter Maggard; his great grandchildren, Finleigh Grace King, Evelyn Michelle King and Harper Marie Maggard; and his brothers, Roger Maggard (Irene) and Greg Maggard (Marsha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. John's Baptist Church, c/o First Baptist Church, 112 E. Main St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461, or to the Pinopolis Community Church, 1833 Pinopolis Rd., Pinopolis, SC 29469.
