He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Goldstein and Jean Goldstein; and his brother Stephen Goldstein. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Long Goldstein; his daughters, Megan, Candace and Samantha Goldstein; his stepdaughters, Bethany and Maryn Long; his sisters, Suzanne Goldstein and Marsha Goldstein; his grandchildren, Harmony, Libby and Atticus Buckley; and his nephew Ben Goldstein.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (211 Alice Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
