He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Eli Rhodes and Myrtle Estelle Rhodes (Taylor); and his siblings, Jimmy Rhodes, Jacqueline Brown (Bootsie) and Louise Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Brigitte of Darlington; his children, Bax of Yorktown, VA, Carolyne Wiley (Ray) and Susan Kirkland (Jay) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jessica Irons (Oliver), Jarrod Wiley and Shannon Kirkland; his great grandchildren, Rhodes Irons and Wiley Irons; and his sisters, Sue Stewart and Jean Crowley of Hartsville, SC..
