She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Hancock and Corinne Hancock; and her siblings, Eleanor Basily and Larry Hancock. She is survived by: her daughters, Samantha Weeks (Glen) and Donyell Watson; her granddaughters, Ashlea Dendy (Nick) and Sara Winburn (Andrew); and her great grandchild Zander Dendy. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In her honor memorials may be made in her name to Darlington Humane Society: 580 East Washington Street, Hartsville, SC 29550.
