With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Ruth Stepp of Darlington, South Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Cockrell and Junie Cockrell; and her husband Jimmie Lee Stepp. She is survived by : her children, Judy Yontz of Marshall, NC, Alan Stepp of Winston Salem, NC, Carol Higgins of Burnsville, NC and Theresa McCaskill of Lynchburg, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
