She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucielle Bedingfield Waters and Dr. Charles Maynand Waters, Sr.; her son Patrick Meserve; and her sister Debra Waters Lendrim. She is survived by: her children, Melinda Hensley (Tony) and David Meserve (Tamra); her stepgrandson Tray Bryant (Michelle); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Silas, Luna and Atticus; and her half-sister Rosalind Waters Groseclose.
She also volunteered with the American Cancer Society and American Heart Fund Drives.
