He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Kelly and Meddie Feagin Kelly; his wife Dianne Kelly; his sons, James Kelly and Jeff Kelly; his brothers, Ronnie and Tommy Kelly; and his half-siblings, Leona Davis, Lenney Mae Kelly, Betty Lou Argo, Patrick Kelly and C. L. Kelly.

He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Kelly Stanley (Josh); his grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kyla, Heather (Matthew), James Christopher (Amy), Joshua Lee, Bradley Monroe (Khristina), Sarah Ellen and Pierce; his siblings, Larry Kelly (Linda), Brenda Cowan and Linda Holland (James); and his great-nephew Taylor Watford. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
