He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Davis and Eula Mae Rogers; and his brother Roger O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Gayle O'Neal; his daughters, Amy O'Neal, Elizabeth Cox (Brandon) and Megan Weaver (John Shelton); his siblings, Donald O'Neal and Angie Suggs; his sister-in-law Tammy Hatchell (Jack); and his grandchildren, Matt Thomas, Hunter Thomas, McKaelynn Stevenson, Braxton Pfleger Jonathan Fernanadez and Joanna Grace Shelton.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Belk Funeral Home (229 W Broad St, Darlington, SC 29532).
