He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Engrim Tucker, Sr. and Eudora Burgess Tucker; his wife Marjorie Anne Phipps; his brother Bobby Tucker; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Phipps Lyerly, Jimmie Phipps (Clary) and Larry Poston (Dobbin).
He is survived by: his children, Joey Tucker (Libby) of Lexington and Emily Tucker Magnus (Ryan) of Darlington; his grandsons, Jonathan Tucker and Finn Magnus; his sister Martha Tucker Poston of Lake City; and his siblings-in-law, Janis Tucker and George Lyerly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Belk Funeral Home (229 W Broad St, Darlington, SC 29532). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lake City Memorial Park (522 W Main St, Lake City, SC 29560).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Darlington Presbyterian Church, 311 Pearl St, Darlington, SC 29532 (https://www.darlingtonpres.org) or the charity of one's choice.
