She is survived by: her children, Carl Jowers (Cristy) of Elgin and Denise Melton (Jonathan) of Sumter, SC.; her grandchildren, Kailey Mitchell (Dustin), Kelsey Jowers, Shea Iler, Gracyn Iler and David Walker Melton; and her sisters-in-law, Carole Freeman (Jeff) and Ruth McKinney.
