As we bid adieu to Lauren's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lauren has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father N. Hartley Odom; her grandparents, Nathaniel Haynes, Edith Hartley Odom, James C. Hudson, Jr. and Beverlie D. Hudson; and her uncle Augustus D. "Gus" Hudson.
She is survived by: her mother Rosa Lee Hudson Heiden (Eric) of Florence; her sister Ryan Leigh Odom Runyon; her brother-in-law Joseph Runyon; and her sibling's children, Jonah Runyon and Margaret Runyon of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home (315 Pearl St, Darlington, SC 29532).
