He was predeceased by : his parents, Manning F. Bryant and Alice McInville Bryant; his son James E. Tyner; and his cousin Larry Bryant. He is survived by : his wife Betty Brown Bryant; and his children, Sarah Gainey (Jerry "Duck") of Darlington, Gloria Smith (Randy Atkinson) of Hartsville, Woodrow Tyner of Hartsville and Joey Tyner of Darlington. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
