With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Missy Atkinson of Darlington, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Atkinson and Shirley Atkinson; and her brother Robbie Atkinson. She is survived by: her children, Chasity Suggs (Lee) of Darlington and Cori Atkinson of Hartsville; her grandchildren, Gracie Suggs, Lee Suggs III and Rowyn Suggs; her siblings, Teresa Sanders (Buck) of Timmonsville, Tonya Ham (Gene) of Darlington, Shasta Grant (Lee) of Hartsville and Shane Atkinson (Tonya) of Darlington; her sister-in-law Linda Atkinson; and her nieces and nephews, Kasey, Kerri, Meagan, Jacob and Zach. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Belk Funeral Home - Darlington (229 W Broad St, Darlington, SC 29532). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Belk Funeral Home, PO Box 523, Darlington, SC 29540, to assist with funeral expenses.
