With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Myrtle Warr Weatherford of Darlington, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Myrtle left this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Everette C. Weatherford, Sr.; her children, Everette C. Weatherford, Jr. and Connie M. Galliher; her parents, William Odie Warr and Marie Blackmon Warr Creeden; her siblings, Rivers Warr, Gertrude Warr Dodson, William "Pete" Warr and Marion "Tommy" Warr; her sister-in-law Helen Warr; and her daughters-in-law, Shirley Weatherford and Glenda P. Weatherford.
She is survived by: her son James; her great grandchildren, Kelvin Weatherford (Amy), Christopher Galliher (Renee), Tracy Weatherford, Timmy Weatherford and Charles Weatherford (Esperanza); her great great grandchildren, Clayton, Laken, Kaleb, Thomas and Steven; and her close friend Darlene Byrd (Terry King). She is also survived by extended family, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Baptist Church (2364 Cashua Ferry Rd, Darlington, SC 29532). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
