Sims; his son Shawn A. Sims; his grandchildren, Antwan Sims of Cheraw, SC, Myeshia A. Sims of Cheraw, SC, Zaveon Sims of Cheraw, SC and Stanza Cole of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Margie Brunson (Douglas) and Hansen Brown; his mother-in-law Gladys Rouse; his uncle Harry L. Carolina; his aunts, Rosa Head and Eloise McCall; and his siblings, Abigail Bromell, Latonya Valarie Carolina and Leo Sims. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 913 Catherine St, Darlington, SC 29532. Viewing was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. (612 S Main St, Darlington, SC 29532). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Memorial Gardens.
