She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Thompson and Agnes Thomas Thompson; her husband Ralph Bishop; her daughter Edith Bishop Alston; and her grandchildren, Peter Bailey, Thomas Bailey and Doretha Benjamin.

She is survived by: her children, Felecia Bishop McPhail, Catherine Bishop Davis and Lillie Bishop Davis; her grandchild Twenty; her nephew Michael Thompson; and her close friends, Laura Thompson, John Graham and Ruth Zimmerman. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
