He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Harrington and Louise Frances Chavis Harrington of Darlington; his wife Debra Jean Harrington; his sons, Roger Johnson and Johnny Franklin Harrington; and his siblings, Inez Powell, Daisy Mae Weatherford, Hubert Harrington, Steve Harrington and John Henry Harrington.
He is survived by: his daughter Helen Stribling (Louiza McGee); his siblings, Bessie Mullen, Mary Williams and Lavern Harrington; his grandchildren, Brandy Helton, Samantha Jones (David), Rocky Helton (Stephanie), Roger Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Misty Biles (Daniel), Bridgette Miller (Brian) and Todd Northcutt; and his pet Teddy. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
