He is survived by: his children, Caleb Strickland (Samantha) and Rebecca Strickland (Kevin DuRant); his grandchildren, Tristan, Walter, Brennan and Elizabeth; his sister Glenda Jones; his nephew Justin Jones; and his great-nephews, Randy and Ryan.
