Rita W. Roberts Obituary
We bid farewell to Rita W. Roberts of Darlington, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stoy William Roberts and Edna Marie Gardner Roberts; her siblings, Doris Bradley (Edward), Olin Roberts (Verda) and Carl Roberts; and her sister-in-law Faye Roberts.
She is survived by: her siblings, Arnold Roberts and Freda Robinson (J. B.); and her sister-in-law Shirley Roberts of Kershaw, S. C.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Buffalo Baptist Church (6390 Lockhart Rd, Kershaw, SC 29067). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery (6390 Lockhart Rd, Kershaw, SC 29067).
She requested that no flowers be sent. Please kindly send a donation in her memory to the International Mission Board, Southern Baptist Convention.
