He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Grady Wallace, Sr. and Bessie Watford Wallace; his wife Barbara L. Norris Wallace; and his brothers, Charlie F. Wallace and Jimmy Wallace.
He is survived by: his sons, Russ Wallace (Kammie Chisolm), Sam Wallace, III (Laura) and John Wallace (Debra); his grandchildren, Travis, Corey (Michelle), John, Nathan and Katherine; and his siblings, Johnny Wallace and Myrtle Brewer. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
