He is survived by: his wife Debora "Debbie" Sturkie; his children, Teressa Wright (Kelly) and Terry Sturkie, Jr. (Jenni); his grandchildren, Jacob Morris (Hailey), Jalyn Morris (Summer), Gabe and Eli Jimenez; his siblings, Freddy Sturkie (Debbie), Ann Register (late Sarge) and Crystal Hatfield; his mother-in-law Mary Altman; his close friend Johnathan Croom; and his pets, Saydi and Ugly.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Belk Funeral Home (229 W Broad St, Darlington, SC 29532). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Flat Creek Free Will Baptist Church (2951 Society Hill Rd, Darlington, SC 29532).
