Wallace Haynes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wallace Haynes (Darlington, South Carolina), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Douglas and Irene Hancock Haynes; his wife Eleanor Irby Haynes; his son Scott Haynes; his daughter-in-law Kim Haynes; his siblings, Carolyn Farmer and Garland Haynes; and his sister-in-law Nora Haynes.

He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Haynes Green (Will) of Florence; his granddaughter Irby Haynes DuBose (Adam) of Hartsville; his great grandchildren, Wallace of Hartsville, Law of Hartsville and Haynes DuBose of Hartsville; and his siblings, Bob Haynes of Hurt, VA, Richard Haynes of Hurt, VA and Martha Brown (Bud) of Hurt, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Methodist Church (126 Pearl St, Darlington, SC 29532). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Welsh Neck Baptist Church Cemetery (112 Church St, Society Hill, SC 29593).
