She was predeceased by : her parent Ellen Thomas of Bamberg, SC.; her husband John Ryant; her daughter Phyllis Brooks; her siblings, Shirley Freeman, Annette Adams, Emmas Adams and Marvin Singleton; and her grandson Jamel Walker.
She is survived by : her children, Cornelia Sanders of Columbia, SC, Lanore Franklin (Ray) of Walterboro, SC, Shirley Conner (Craig) of Orangeburg, SC, Joyce Fogle of Orangeburg, SC, Denise Pough of Orangeburg, SC, Marilyn Polite (Eric) of Orangeburg, SC and Laticia Polite of Orangeburg, SC; her siblings, Maxine Adams of New Ellenton, SC, Pam Adams of Columbia, SC, Pat Adams of Columbia, SC, Ellen Davis of Denmark, SC and Leroy Adams; and her caregiver Leah Spigner. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren.
