He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Jardine Ray, Sr. and Marina Bradford Ray; his former wife Marilyn Harrison Ray; and his sister-in-law Linda Ray. He is survived by: his spouse Mimbee Baker Ray; his son Clifford Jardine "Dean" Ray, III (Lisa) of Beech Island, SC; his grandsons, Harrison James Ray and Clifford Jardine "Jace" Ray, IV; his stepchildren, Kemper Moody (Clay), Julie Toirkens (Alex) and Samuel Broughton "Bee" Baker, III (Carlisle); his grandchildren, Belton (Blake), William, Jeffrey, John Baker, Emarie, Meriwether and Brock; and his brothers, Dr. Starling "Speed" Ray, II, Bradford Ray (Ljiljana) and Jonathan Ray (Donna). He is also survived by his family, friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Park United Methodist Church (25 Beech Ave, Denmark, SC 29042).
