With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Pauline Cwiakala Martin of Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cwiakala and Bessie Lewandowsky Cwiakala; and her husband Walter Ashley Martin, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Walter A. Martin, III of Dillon, SC, Roy Nicholas Martin of Dillon, SC and Linda Lee Martin (John Stump) of Ocean Isle, NC; her grandchildren, Walter A. Martin, IV and Alycia Eury (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Zoie Sealey, Zayden Sealy and Roxxann Eury.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (1252 SC-57, Dillon, SC 29536).
