It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara A. Owens (Dillon, South Carolina), who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Herring and Beatrice Ward Herring; her husband James Owens, Sr.; and her sons, James Owens, Jr. (Debbie) of Latta and Charles Owens.

She is survived by : her sons, Glenn Owens (Lisa) of Dillon and Carl Owens of Hartsville; and her siblings, Ernest Herring of Marion, Horace Herring of Marion and Mary Kate Roberts of Marion. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
