She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Meekins and Margaret Culbreth Meekins; her husband George L. Williamson (Robert L. Evans); and her siblings, Jessie Meekins, Coy Meekins, Edgar Meekins, Herbert Meekins (Monk), Lloyd Meekins, Jim Meekins, Leroy Meekins (Koon), Frank Meekins, Jr. (Beet), Virginia Thigpen (Jenny), Lottie Price and Virgie Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, George L. Williamson, Jr. (Jimmie Lynn), Wendy Williamson Melvin (Nelson) and Kelly H. Williamson (Stacy); her grandchildren, Wesley Williamson (Mandy), Lindsey Creech (Rusty), Will Bruce, Nelson Melvin Jr. (Brittany), Neil Melvin (Mariah), Hayes Melvin, Kelly Williamson, Jr. (Allison), Maggie Moody (Aaron), Logan Locklear and Polly Williamson; and her sister Margaret Meekins McKenzie.
In honor of Betty and her love for her church, memorials can be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church.
