He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Hattie Whittington Allen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Daniels Allen of Dillon; his daughters, Polly Allen Elkins (James Neil) of Dillon and Sylvia Allen Lawson (Anthony) of Florence; his granddaughter Kristen Lawson Bowers (Daniel) of Cleveland, TN; and his great grandchild Fischer Rhett Bowers.
