He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Carol Lane and Jenney Parrott Lane; his wife Barbara Eloise Johnson Lane; his siblings, Jessie C. Lane, Geraldine Brigman and Mavis Stone; and his pet Bentley.
He is survived by: his children, Wendell M. Lane (Debbie) of Florence, SC, Laurice Brigman of Latta, SC, Joan Allen of Latta, SC and Rella Weaver (Vernie) of Darlington, SC; and his grandchildren, Robyn Moore Jenny Allen (Gary), Merrette Dowdell (Matt), Paige McEachin (Peter), Drew Weaver (Caroline) and Landis Lane (Hannah). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Ebenezer Church Cemetery.
