He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thomas "D. Tom" Edwards and Lorna Gerrard Edwards; his wife Gayle Edwards; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Allen, Shelva Jean Young (Bill) and Terry Kennedy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Pritchett (Stuart) of Surfside Beach, Carla Shelley (Stacy) of Latta and Holly Davis (Jay) of Florence; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob Pritchett, Emily Murtha (John), Dylan Shelley, Bella and Harrison Davis; his great grandchild Tripp Murtha; his siblings, Ione Allen and Paul Edwards (Helen); his siblings-in-law, Nancy Reece (Roger), Joyce Kennedy and Harry Coleman (Sylvia); and his caregivers, Donna, Curtis, Jan, Sherry, Leslie, Jackie, Margie and Hattie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
