McLaurin; his children, Charles Thomas McLaurin, Jr. (Donna) of Clio, Richard Troy Oney of Clio, Shawn McLaurin (Lisa) of Clio, Tina Morgan of Republic and Cindi Oney (Charley) of Redway, California; his sister Julia Johnson of Lake View; his grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" Thomas (Rebecca) of Missouri, Sarah Wilson of Missouri, Kevin Wilson of Missouri, Samantha Royal (Chris) of Missouri, Charles Thomas McLaurin, III (Amanda) of Missouri, Emily McLaurin of Missouri, Olivia McLaurin of Lumberton, NC, Travis Bertain of Redway, Jackie Hill (Connor) of Timmonsville, SC, Jessica Ellis (Patrick) of Clio, Patrick Jeffery of Clio and Brianna Barber (John Desmond) of Clio; and his great grandchild Jada Lynn Desmond. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the McLucas Cemetery.
