He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Franklin Hamer and Mary Edna Hamer; and his daughter Brenda Martin. He is survived by: his wife Alice Delois Hamer; his son Daniel Hamer Jr.; his nephews, Mike Hamer and Neices (Patty Seawright); and his grandsons, James Hamer and Daniel Leroy Hamer.
