He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester W. Edwards and Addie Small Edwards; his former life partner Mary Smith Edwards; and his brother Howard Edwards. He is survived by : his wife Jerri Jackson Hayes-Edwards of Dillon; his children, Tammy Edwards Herring of Latta and Ed Edwards, Jr. (Julie) of Greer, SC; his grandchildren, Jamison Herring of Latta, Mary Addison Edwards of Greer, SC, Raylie Edwards of Greer, SC and Cason Edwards of Greer, SC; his stepchildren, Mike Hayes (Dana) of Dillon, Ashley Hayes of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Chad Hayes of Florence, SC; his stepgrandsons, Michael Hayes (Morgan) of Dillon, Ethan Hayes of Columbia, SC, Jackson Hayes of Buies Creek, NC and Levi Hayes of Florence, SC; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Addison Hayes of Dillon and Lillie Hayes of Dillon; his sister Judy Edwards Bailey (Bill) of Boone, NC; and his pet Iggy.
